View Live Interactive Profile →Howard Anderson founded the technology research firm The Yankee Group in 1970 and co-founded Battery Ventures in Boston in 1983 with Rick Frisbie and Bob Barrett. A Tecnologico de Monterrey faculty biography states he was a co-founder and general partner of Battery Ventures from 1983 to 1999, the year he stepped down at the Yankee Group and started YankeeTek Ventures, an early-stage fund and incubator in Cambridge. He went on to teach as the William Porter Distinguished Senior Lecturer at the MIT Sloan School of Management, where he received teaching and mentoring awards in 2008 and 2010. He is living and currently teaches at Brown University's School of Engineering, with further appointments at the Tuck School of Business and Tecnologico de Monterrey.
