He is a private credit specialist with more than sixteen years of corporate finance experience across developing and developed markets. He was previously Head of Credit Solutions at HSBC, where the firm says he built the bank's early-stage lending proposition for innovation economy companies and grew AUM tenfold to over US$1.4bn, and before that he headed HSBC's Structured Finance team in Mexico working on complex object and asset-backed financings. He holds a B.A. (Honours) in Geography from the University of Nottingham, a foundation degree in banking practice from the University of Kent's School of Finance, an applied diploma in corporate banking from the ifs School of Finance and Level 3 qualifications from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
