Openspace Capital

Openspace was founded in Singapore in 2014 as NSI Ventures, the venture arm of private equity firm Northstar Group, and became independent under the Openspace Ventures name in 2018. It backs tech-native and tech-enabled companies in Southeast Asia, and its published portfolio is grouped into consumer, finance, health, agriculture, SaaS and sustainability. The manager now runs several strategies alongside its Openspace Ventures early-stage funds: Openspace Growth for Series C and D, Ocular for frontier technology and digital assets, Onyx for growth credit and Orbit for listed small and mid caps; it renamed itself Openspace Capital in 2025 to reflect that shift. It states US$800M in committed capital across six funds and operates from Singapore with people in Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam and Malaysia.
