Biography

Fred Soneya is a Co-Founder and General Partner of Haatch and, per his own Haatch biography, oversees the firm's end-to-end operations. He states he co-founded Haatch in 2013, launched its tax-efficient funds in 2018 and its institutional funds in 2022, and has invested capital in over 200 companies while expanding the investor base beyond 3,000. Before Haatch he worked at Kiddicare.com and, after its acquisition, at Morrisons, leading large-scale innovation programmes. He holds senior regulated positions at Haatch's FCA-authorised entity and his biography states he led it to become the first manager to bring client money and custody fully in-house.
