Haatch is a UK early-stage manager whose homepage says "We back UK founders early, bringing real operator support to help you accelerate at pace" and states its focus as "B2B Software across future of enterprise, fintech & vertical saas". Its stated thesis rests on three published claims: that deep pain drives purchasing decisions and creates sticky recurring revenue, that go-to-market and sales define a seed-stage company's success, and that hands-on 0-to-1 operating experience is fundamental to guiding founders. The manager runs distinct vehicles rather than one blended pool. Its own investors page describes the SEIS Fund as lead investor, 10 to 15 investments per fund, up to £250k per company, aimed at getting founders to product-market fit, and the EIS Fund as co-investor, 4 to 7 investments per fund, £500k or more per company, aimed at scaling from early traction to multi-million pound ARR. Its regulatory footer names six managed vehicles: the Haatch SEIS Fund, Haatch EIS Fund, Haatch BBB Syndicate Fund, Blue Earth Syndicate, Loughborough Venture Investor Network Fund and Haatch D2N2 ESAIF. It also runs Haatch Direct. The firm states it has been on the journey with over 200 companies and shows 197 active portfolio companies. It publishes a stated fee model of charging investors rather than portfolio companies, in place since October 2018.
