Frank Rotman co-founded QED Investors in 2007 with Nigel Morris and Caribou Honig, after 13 years at Capital One where he was one of the early architects who helped create the company. He holds a B.S. in Applied Mathematics and an M.S. in Systems Engineering, both from the University of Virginia. QED says he led the firm's investment in Credit Karma and played a role in its investments in Greensky, Flywire and SoFi, and his QED page lists active investments across lending, proptech, fraud and risk. In March 2025 QED announced he would move to Partner Emeritus at the end of the year and take a part-time advisory role while founding his own startups.
