Biography

Amias Gerety joined QED Investors as a Partner in 2017, focusing on portfolio support and investment opportunities in back office technologies and infrastructure, with expertise in financial markets, compliance and RegTech. Before QED he served as Acting Assistant Secretary for Financial Institutions at the U.S. Department of the Treasury and as Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Financial Stability Oversight Council, and he holds Treasury's Alexander Hamilton award. Earlier he was a management consultant at Oliver Wyman and worked in policy roles in East Africa with Save the Children.
