Biography

Cutler Cook is the founder of Clay Point Investors and a Venture Partner at Deciens Capital. The firm states that most of his career has been spent at institutional allocators, where he specialised in backing smaller, pre-institutional fund managers, and that he has invested in over 30 startups from the ground up, "including two IPOs and several strategic exits"; the two IPOs are the only numeric exit figure any source gives for him, and the strategic exits are not enumerated, so majorExits is left null. Before becoming a Venture Partner he was a Deciens Limited Partner. He holds an A.B. from Harvard College, cum laude, and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School, along with the CFA, CAIA and CQF designations. He divides his time between London and Florida. Deciens publishes no year for when he joined the firm, names no Deciens portfolio company as his own investment, and states no board seat for him. He is not named in the firm's Fund III close announcement.
