Biography

Batara Eto is a Founding Partner of East Ventures, based in Japan. Before entering venture capital he co-founded Mixi, creating the service in December 2003 and serving as its Chief Technology Officer until 2008, and he brought the company public in Japan. He co-founded East Ventures in 2009 with Willson Cuaca and Taiga Matsuyama, and the firm made its first investment in 2010.
