Rock Health Capital is the venture fund arm of Rock Health, the San Francisco organization founded in 2010 by Halle Tecco and Nate Gross that describes itself as the first venture fund dedicated to digital health. Rock Health began as a startup accelerator, graduating its inaugural class in June 2011, and later dropped the accelerator model to operate as a conventional early-stage investor. Today the broader Rock Health platform spans three units. Rock Health Capital is the fund, Rock Health Advisory is an enterprise strategy group known for widely cited digital health funding research, and RockHealth.org is a nonprofit focused on health equity. The fund invests exclusively at Pre-Seed, Seed and Series A in companies at the intersection of healthcare and technology, and is led by Bill Evans, who joined Rock Health as managing director in 2016 and is styled Founder and General Partner of Rock Health Capital. The portfolio lists roughly 75 companies including Omada Health, which completed a Nasdaq IPO in June 2025, along with Doctor On Demand, Collective Health, Virta, Benchling, Wellframe and Zus Health. The firm does not publicly state assets under management, and its research arm rather than the fund accounts for most of its public profile.
Portfolio company Omada Health completed its IPO on Nasdaq in June 2025, pricing at $19 per share and raising about $150 million.
