Point Nine

Point Nine grew out of Team Europe Ventures, a SaaS-focused effort Christoph Janz and Pawel Chudzinski began around 2008, before officially rebranding and formalizing as Point Nine Capital in 2011 with co-founder Kolja Hebenstreit. The firm has stayed deliberately narrow and disciplined for more than a decade, making just 10-12 investments per year almost entirely at the seed stage, concentrated in B2B SaaS, marketplaces, and - more recently - AI. That focus produced an unusually high hit rate: more than 65% of Point Nine's seed investments progress to a Series A, and more than ten portfolio companies have reached $100 million or more in annual recurring revenue, including Zendesk, Delivery Hero, Algolia, Contentful, Clio, and Loom, all backed at their earliest stages.
