Citi Ventures

Citi Ventures has operated since 2010 as an investing and commercialization catalyst for Citi's own businesses and clients, a mandate that matters more inside a regulated global bank than at most corporate VCs - finding technology that can genuinely move Citi's own business, not just generate financial returns. Under Arvind Purushotham, who joined as Managing Director in January 2011 to help build the strategic venture investing program, the firm spans Seed through Series F and beyond across fintech, payments, enterprise software, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity. In 2020 the group launched the Citi Impact Fund, a dedicated vehicle backing women and minority entrepreneurs across sustainability, workforce development, and financial inclusion, and by its 15th year the firm had invested in and partnered with more than 200 startups.
