Amplify Partners

Amplify Partners was founded in 2012 with an unusually specific identity: it calls itself the first investor built for technical founders, not software founders broadly. The firm made its name as one of the earliest institutional backers of Datadog and Fastly more than a decade ago, when technical founders running B2B infrastructure companies were still considered unconventional bets, and it has kept that thesis through waves of developer tools, data infrastructure, and AI/ML platform investing. In June 2025 Amplify closed $900 million across three vehicles - a $400 million core Fund 6, a $300 million Fund 6 Select for follow-on support, and a new $200 million Amplify Bio fund marking its first dedicated push into digital biology.
