Biography

Yoon Beop-ryeol has been chief executive of KB Investment since 1 April 2025. He was born in 1972, read law at Seoul National University and holds a master's in financial law from the University of London, a master's in business administration from Yonsei University and a doctorate in law from Seoul National University. He practised as a lawyer at Samsung Securities, the law firm Lee & Ko, the London office recorded by the source as Reeds Smith, and Citibank Korea, before joining KB Securities in August 2008. Over roughly seventeen years at KB Securities he worked in compliance oversight, investment banking, overseas business support, overseas alternative investment and alternative finance, ending as 전무 and head of the Equity management division. Money Today reported on 31 March 2025 that he was appointed to lead KB Investment after 송영석 resigned about a year into the role for health reasons. Asia Economy reported in August 2026 that he continues to lead the firm. No board seat, deal attribution, IPO count or exit count for him could be sourced.
