Biography

Ty Findley is Co-Founder and General Partner of Ironspring Ventures, an Austin based venture capital firm founded in 2020 that backs early stage companies digitizing industrial sectors including construction, manufacturing, transport and logistics, and alternative energy. He previously held investment roles at Pritzker Group Venture Capital, GE Ventures, and G51 Capital, and began his career as a design engineer at Boeing. He is a Kauffman Fellow. Under his leadership Ironspring announced a $61 million debut fund in 2021 and closed a $100 million Fund II in June 2024, and its seed investment Document Crunch was the subject of an announced acquisition by Trimble in 2026. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Baylor University and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
