He is also CEO and General Manager of HOLT Group, parent company of HOLT CAT, the largest Caterpillar dealership in the United States, where the firm describes him as the fifth generation of the Holt family business, and he serves as Chairman and Managing Partner of the NBA's San Antonio Spurs & Entertainment. Before Ironspring he co-founded Holt Ventures, an earlier venture investing effort. Ironspring's seed investment Document Crunch was the subject of an announced acquisition by Trimble in 2026.
