Biography

Tsendai Chagwedera is a Partner at EchoVC Partners, the seed and early-stage technology firm founded by Eghosa Omoigui. Before joining EchoVC he worked at TPG covering Africa private equity, at Emerging Capital Partners in Nairobi, at H.I.G. Capital in Boston on growth private equity transactions in technology, and began his career as an analyst on the technology M&A team at The Blackstone Group. He graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. He has authored or co-authored EchoVC's public announcements of its investments in Wapi Pay, Ponto and Senga.
