View Live Interactive Profile →Tom Vanhoutte is Partner and Co-founder of imec.xpand, the independent venture capital fund launched in 2017 alongside, but managed separately from, the Leuven based nanoelectronics research institute imec. He has spent most of his career on the business side of venture capital, including more than twelve years as a senior manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers and nearly six years as Chief Financial Officer of Capricorn Venture Partners before co-founding imec.xpand in March 2017. At the fund he draws on an extended network of venture investors, corporates and entrepreneurs to help deeptech portfolio companies raise capital and scale globally, and he served as a public voice for the firm's EUR 117 million first fund and EUR 300 million second fund.
