Biography

Tidjane Deme is a General Partner in Partech's Africa team, based in Dakar, where Partech opened offices when it launched the Partech Africa fund in January 2018 with him and Cyril Collon as General Partners. Partech's launch announcement states that he spent more than seven years in executive roles at Google in Africa, where he led YouTube strategy in the region and drove broadband infrastructure investment initiatives, and that he had earlier founded and led CommonSys IT Consulting and Services in West Africa and worked at Cosine Communications and CapGemini. He joined the board of Nigerian payments company Kudi when Partech led its Series A in 2019, and Partech and press announcements name him on the TradeDepot and Djamo rounds.
