Before Riot he was a six-time founder and chief executive with more than 20 years of experience building large-scale wireless networks and datacenters, selling telecom companies to buyers including American Tower, Sprint, and National Grid. He co-founded Riot Ventures in 2017 with Will Coffield, starting with a 10 million dollar first fund, and the firm announced a 75 million dollar second fund in 2020. At Riot he invests across seed and growth stages and holds board seats at Shield AI, EnduroSat, Blue Water Autonomy, Kindo, Mango, and Valar Atomics. His investments include the public companies Okta, Toast, and Desktop Metal. He holds a BS from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.
