Sophia Bendz is a Stockholm-based Partner at Cherry Ventures, which announced her hire on 1 July 2020 with a 1 September start. She spent seven years as Global Marketing Director at Spotify, where her Cherry bio says she oversaw the company's growth from a startup in a Stockholm apartment to an international player, and she co-founded AllBright.se, a non-profit foundation focused on diversity in business. Before Cherry she was an entrepreneur-in-residence and then Partner at Atomico, where she created the Angel Programme, and she has made more than 40 angel investments across Europe and North America.
