Before Cherry he was a consultant at Boston Consulting Group and then Chief Marketing Officer at Zalando, where his firm bio says he helped grow the company to more than 2 billion euros in revenue at IPO with 250 million euros of annual marketing spend across 15 European markets. He studied in Germany, the United States and Brazil, invests in B2B software and consumer companies, and his Cherry bio names Flix, Forto, Tacto, Qualifyze, dash0, Manual, Numa and flaschenpost among his investments. He entered the Forbes Midas List Europe at number 24 in 2023 and is a guest lecturer at WHU and CDTM Munich.
