Robert Tepper is a co-founder of Third Rock Ventures, which the firm's site says he joined in 2007, and it describes him as a scientist with more than 30 years of experience building and operating R&D organizations in the biotech industry. He met co-founders Mark Levin and Kevin Starr while serving as president of R&D at Millennium Pharmaceuticals, and he also co-founded Cell Genesys/Abgenix. Third Rock lists Casma Therapeutics as his board position, and SEC filings record earlier directorships at Constellation Pharmaceuticals, bluebird bio, Kala Pharmaceuticals, Cerulean Pharmaceuticals, Jounce Therapeutics, Neon Therapeutics and Allena Pharmaceuticals. He holds an A.B. in biochemistry from Princeton University and an M.D. from Harvard Medical School.
