He is separately identified in Sina Tech's 17 March 2025 report as Managing Director of Informed Ventures, the separately branded US entity that took over the business previously carried under the name GSR Ventures US; in that report he explains that the 2019 'GSR Ventures US' naming had caused confusion. Wikipedia names him as one of the firm's 2004 founders; that claim rests on Wikipedia alone.
