Paul Ferri was a founding partner of Matrix Partners in 1982, after co-founding Hellman Ferri Investment Associates in 1977 and serving as its general partner until 1982. Earlier he was a general partner of WestVen Management from 1970 to 1978. He has served on the boards of Cascade Communications Corp., Sycamore Networks, Stratus Computer, TechForce Corporation, ArrowPoint Communications and Sonus Networks, and as a member of the Board of Overseers of Columbia Business School. Matrix's team page lists him under Emeritus with the title Founder.
