Ozi Amanat is the founder of K2 Global and the only person the firm names on its website. K2 Global's About Team page states that he is a founder of K2 Global and that in 2015 he launched the venture capital firm to invest in private technology companies; the firm's About us page states K2 Global was founded in Singapore and Silicon Valley in 2015. The same About Team page states that as an investor he was an early backer in Neuralink, SpaceX, Palantir, Spotify, Shield AI, Coinbase, Function Health, Lambda Labs, Airbnb, Uber, Paytm, Pinterest, Allbirds, Warby Parker, Scopely, Agility Robotics, Oatly and xAI. K2 Global's 11 August 2026 announcement of $200 million in capital commitments describes him as a solo venture capitalist and quotes him as "Ozi Amanat, Founder of K2 Global". Before K2 Global, The Peak Magazine's July 2019 profile reports that he raised US$25 million to invest in Twitter after an introduction through a friend of co-founder Evan Williams, and that the position was worth more than US$100 million when Twitter listed in 2013; the same profile refers to his years as a Harvard student but states no degree. He was named as a founder of K2 Global alongside Minal Hasan in e27's February 2017 report of the firm's US$183 million fund. No board seat, degree, prior employer or exit count for him could be sourced from K2 Global or any other acceptable source, so those fields are empty or null.
