Biography

Monica Saggioro is a general partner and co-founder of MAYA Capital, an early stage venture firm based in Sao Paulo that leads first institutional cheques into Latin American startups. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and previously worked at Whirlpool, where she helped launch the KitchenAid brand in Brazil, at Restaurant Brands International across Latin America, and at Goldman Sachs. She co-founded MAYA Capital with Lara Lemann in 2018, and the firm closed a 100 million dollar second fund in 2022.
