Fuel Ventures states that the firm started in 2014 when it began raising its first fund, and its site describes him as an entrepreneur who scaled his own company, MyVoucherCodes, to a £55m exit. His team page bio reads: 'Mark is an award winning digital entrepreneur having achieved multiple successful exits over the last decade. Mark takes an active role in mentoring the Fund's portfolio of companies.' He is the Fuel Ventures spokesperson quoted in the large majority of the firm's investment announcements, in which he is styled variously as Founder of Fuel Ventures and as Managing Partner. In a bylined Maddyness UK article of 2 December 2024 he wrote that Fuel Ventures invests between £250K and £3M, deploys around £70m a year and has backed over 170 companies, and named SaaS, fintech and marketplaces as focus areas. No board seat is recorded. Twenty-three Fuel Ventures investment announcements were read on 7 September 2026 and none contains a sentence appointing anyone to a portfolio company board, and no portfolio company board page naming this person was found.
