Fuel Ventures is a UK venture capital manager investing from pre-seed to Series A in technology companies with early commercial traction. Its site states cheque sizes of £150k to £3m and around 30 new first-cheque investments a year. It is not a single-fund partnership: it runs several distinct UK tax-advantaged vehicles, and its investors page names four - a Pre-Seed SEIS Fund writing up to £250,000, a Scale-up EIS Fund writing £1m to £3m, a Follow On EIS Fund writing £500k to £2m, and a VCT Fund writing £250k to £1m. The firm's own page describing its model refers to five separate funds, and its sitemap additionally carries a Seed EIS fund page. The SEIS fund is stated to invest in a diversified portfolio of 20 to 30 early-stage technology companies a year, with a minimum of ten companies per investor. Fuel Ventures Limited is an appointed representative of Palace Ventures Limited, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under firm reference number 433291; Fuel Ventures is not itself the FCA-authorised entity. Its founder Mark Pearson has written that the firm deploys around £70m a year and names SaaS, fintech and marketplaces as focus areas.
