View Live Interactive Profile →Marcin P. Kowalik is Managing Partner and a co-founder of Balnord, the Baltic Sea Region frontier and dual-use technology fund. He is an entrepreneur turned venture investor with over a decade in the technology industry, having founded two companies that exited - one to a Norwegian strategic buyer and one via a private equity management buyout. He was previously solo General Partner at Black Pearls VC, where the firm reports an 18.6x return from a NASDAQ-listed buyer, and his portfolio there included Autenti, Skyrise, Insly, Solwit, Microamp and SATIM. He has served as Vice President of the Management Board of the Polish Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (PSIK) and as a Defence Task Force member at Invest Europe. He is an alumnus of Kauffman Fellows Class 22 and leads Balnord's DeepTech and dual-use investing across Poland and the Baltics.
