A biography PDF published by SEEDS states that he is Deputy Chairman of Vertex Venture Holdings Ltd, that he was General Manager and then President of Vertex Management Pte Ltd between 1988 and 1995 and an executive Director of Vertex Venture Holdings from 1995 to 2004, that he was earlier a senior manager in the NatSteel group and Deputy Director of Planning at Singapore's Ministry of National Development, and that his previous board roles included Heptagon Micro Optics, China Finance Online, Gemplus International S.A. and Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing. The same SEEDS PDF describes him as "Venture Partner at GGV Capital" and lists a current board seat at the Singapore-listed Creative Technology Ltd; both appear to be out of date and neither is recorded here as current.
