Before joining the firm she spent more than a decade in New York City government, serving as Senior Vice President at the New York City Economic Development Corporation, where she directed business development initiatives across sectors including cleantech, fashion and advanced manufacturing, and earlier as Executive Director of the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission. She holds an MS from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Cornell University.
