Biography

Jamie Montgomery spent more than 25 years as founder and CEO of Montgomery & Co., a boutique investment bank that financed hundreds of leading technology companies, before pivoting to venture capital in 2013 to co-found March Capital with three fellow industry veterans. That banking network, combined with The Montgomery Summit, an annual technology conference Montgomery founded in 2004 that now draws more than 1,000 global entrepreneurs and investors to Santa Monica, gave March Capital an unusually deep relationship base from day one. The firm centered its thesis on enterprise, cybersecurity, and AI investing, playing a key role in CrowdStrike's growth as a private company as a board observer before its 2019 IPO, and Montgomery now serves on the boards of ASAPP, Essential AI, Forter, and Overjet, with March Capital managing more than $1 billion across four funds.
