Graziano Seghezzi is a Managing Partner of Sofinnova Partners, which he joined in 2006 and where he is an active member of the Sofinnova Capital Strategy investment team. He began his venture capital career at Sofinnova in 2001 and worked at Index Ventures in Geneva from 2003 to 2006, after five years of academic research in oncology and cardiovascular disease at New York University's School of Medicine. He was appointed Managing Partner in 2017 and established BiovelocITA, Italy's first biotech accelerator, in 2015 and the Sofinnova Telethon Fund in 2018. He serves on the boards of GlycoEra, T-Therapeutics, Enthera, HotSpot Therapeutics and Mission Therapeutics.
