View Live Interactive Profile →Fadi Ghandour is Executive Chairman and Managing Partner of Wamda Capital and Executive Chairman of Wamda Group, the MENA entrepreneurship platform he established in 2010. He co-founded Aramex in 1982 and led it as CEO for around three decades, taking it public in 1997 as the first Arab company from the Middle East to list on a US stock exchange. He was an early investor in Maktoob, which Yahoo acquired in 2009, and subsequently launched MENA Venture Investments, backing more than 110 companies. He chairs Ruwwad for Development, which focuses on community engagement and social entrepreneurship. Since 2019 he has funded Wamda Capital's evergreen vehicle with his personal capital rather than raising third-party institutional funds.
