Biography

Eric Manlunas is co-founder and General Partner of Wavemaker Partners and is based in Los Angeles. He launched Frontera Group in 2003, the angel vehicle that became Wavemaker's predecessor, after a career that began in management consulting at Arthur Andersen in 1991 and included founding Interfoods, a specialty food e-commerce business acquired in 1999, and Sitestar, an internet service provider acquired in 2002. The firm credits him with over 200 venture investments, including seed positions in eight companies that became unicorns: Mindbody, Viagogo, Digital Globe, Floqast, Daily Pay, AuditBoard, VideoAmp and Icon Build. He recently co-led the acquisition of the sports compression apparel brand 2XU. He holds a Communications degree from Florida International University and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
