Duane Kuang is a Founding Managing Partner of Qiming Venture Partners, where his stated investment focus is information technology, artificial intelligence and automation. Before entering venture capital in 1999, he began his career as a software engineer in Silicon Valley, spent five years in senior management roles at Cisco Systems in China, and then served as Director of Intel Capital China. Qiming's own profile lists Roborock, WeRide, UBTech, Unisound, Hesai Technology, StepFun, Chaitin and Qiniu Cloud among his portfolio companies. He was named to the Forbes Global 100 VC Midas List in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
