She has been one of the firm's most consistently active investors in consumer payments and marketplaces, personally leading Greycroft's early seed bet on Venmo years before Braintree, which had acquired the payments app, sold to PayPal for $800 million in 2013. Settle also led Greycroft's early investment in The RealReal, the consignment marketplace that completed its own IPO in 2019, and has continued to anchor the firm's growth-stage fintech and marketplace investing as it has grown to more than $3 billion in assets under management.
