Biography

Cristina Nuñez is Co-Founder and General Partner of True Beauty Ventures, where she combines an investor's and an operator's view of the beauty industry. She began her career in consumer focused investment banking at UBS before moving into private equity at Catterton Partners (now L Catterton) and Tengram Capital Partners, where she first worked with Rich Gersten. She then moved into operating roles, holding executive leadership positions at Laura Geller Beauty and serving as General Manager and Chief Operating Officer of skincare brand Clark's Botanicals. In 2020 she co-founded True Beauty Ventures, which invests in emerging beauty and wellness brands from Seed to Series B. She earned a BA in Public Policy Studies from Duke University.
