Biography

Bill Elmore co-founded Foundation Capital in 1995 after nearly a decade as a general partner at the venture firm Inman & Bowman, which he joined in 1987. Earlier he worked in marketing management at Hewlett-Packard and served as president of Visual Engineering. He holds BSEE and MSEE degrees from Purdue University and an MBA from Stanford University, and Purdue's Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering is named for him and his wife. Purdue now describes him as an emeritus partner at Foundation Capital, and the firm's current investor team page does not list him.
