TechCrunch identified him in October 2016 as Fenox Venture Capital's General Partner and CEO, and FinSMEs reported on 3 May 2019 that Pegasus Tech Ventures was launching officially led by General Partner and CEO Anis Uzzaman. He is named as the sole related person, as an Executive Officer, on the SEC Form D filed on 24 May 2024 by Fenox Venture Co. XVII, L.P., which files from the same San Jose address as Pegasus. His own site states 'Anis has invested in over 260 startups globally' and describes him as Chairman of Startup World Cup. He is quoted as Founder and CEO of Pegasus Tech Ventures in the firm's press releases of 10 March 2021, 16 September 2025 and 28 July 2026. No education is recorded because none was found on an acceptable source, although his own site styles him Ph.D.
