She joined JetBlue Technology Ventures in 2018 as Managing Director of Operations and Partnerships, building the operational foundation that supported the fund's portfolio companies, and was promoted to President in 2021 after founding president Bonny Simi left to join portfolio company Joby Aviation directly following its public listing - a transition Simi has called a model for succession planning in corporate venture capital. Burr has since guided the fund's evolution from a wholly-owned JetBlue subsidiary into SKY VC, an independent fund under SKY Leasing, now leading its strategic vision as CEO across travel, hospitality, and transportation investing.
