A physician by training, she led women's health work as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, advising biopharma, diagnostics, global public health and private equity clients, and earlier held roles with the reproductive health nonprofits EngenderHealth and Marie Stopes International in East Africa and Asia. She serves on the boards of Seven Starling and Millie. She holds an MD and MPH from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
