He spent more than a decade at PETRONAS in engineering, project development, and strategy roles tied to Malaysia's upstream petroleum sector and was a founding member of the company's corporate venture effort focused on new energy, advanced materials, and industrial automation. At Piva he manages limited partner relationships and fundraising strategy and has sourced and supported investments including Oobli, OneRail, and Ineratec. He is a Kauffman Fellow and holds a Master of Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
