Biography

Adam Valkin is a partner at Vine Ventures, which he joined in 2025 after 12 years as a partner at General Catalyst, where he oversaw the early-stage team and international expansion. He grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa and studied Economics and History at Harvard. He has spent two decades in venture capital with the Hoegh family, Accel London and General Catalyst, and has invested in Israel for over two decades. His investments include Rapyd, Monzo, Melio Payments, Ro Health, Fiverr, Flywire and ClassPass, and he has incubated ventures including LOVEFiLM (acquired by Amazon) and Propertyfinder. He focuses on early-stage AI applications in financial services, insurance, commerce, media and healthcare.
