He is board chair and former chief executive of Teachers Pay Teachers, which he joined as CEO in 2014 after serving as Chief Operating Officer of Etsy; under his leadership the marketplace reached more than 75 percent of K-12 teachers in the United States, Canada, and Australia. Earlier he led international product management and international sales operations at Google through the company's IPO period, and he began his career as a television reporter and anchor, earning an Emmy award. He holds a BA in Linguistics from Harvard University and a degree from Yale Law School.
