Zero Prime Ventures is an early-stage firm backing what it calls "deeply technical teams building the infrastructure, platforms and applications behind AI", and it describes what it offers as "Day zero support for engineer founders" (the firm's own claims, from its homepage). Its team page describes the partners as "engineers turned investors". The firm's Business Wire boilerplate states that it "invests in Day Zero data-oriented companies launched by deeply technical founders" with "a clear technical differentiation in data science, ML, AI, deep learning, analytics and data infrastructure". It is based in San Francisco and closed a $48 million second fund in March 2024.
