Pitango Venture Capital

Pitango Venture Capital was founded in 1993 as Polaris Venture Capital by Rami Kalish, joined three years later by Chemi Peres, and rebranded to its current name in 2001. Now Israel's largest and longest-standing venture capital firm, Pitango operates through three dedicated funds - Pitango First for early-stage bets, Pitango Growth for scaling companies, and Pitango HealthTech for digital health, medical devices, and biotechnology - giving it a genuinely full-lifecycle presence in Israeli tech rare among its peers. The firm has invested in more than 250 companies since founding, with over 85 reaching a public listing or acquisition, and now manages $3 billion across 13 funds.
