Nexus Venture Partners

Nexus Venture Partners was founded in 2006 by Suvir Sujan, Naren Gupta, and Sandeep Singhal, building one of the first true India-US cross-border venture capital platforms at a time when the two ecosystems were rarely connected by a single institutional investor. The firm runs what it calls a 'one fund, one team' model, with genuinely integrated operating and investing experience across Menlo Park, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, rather than treating India as a satellite market for a US-based fund. That structure has let Nexus back enterprise software and AI companies targeting US markets alongside consumer internet and fintech companies built specifically for India, resulting in a portfolio spanning Postman, Delhivery, Druva, and Unacademy. The firm closed its largest-ever fund at $700 million in 2023 and has grown to approximately $2.6 billion in total assets under management.
