Katapult is an impact investor founded in Oslo in 2015 by Tharald Nustad. Its About page presents the organisation as four pillars: Katapult Ocean, the investing arm, which the site describes as an ocean impact investor; Katapult Impact Platform, described as a platform supporting the early stage impact ecosystem, under which the accelerator programmes sit; Katapult Foundation, the non-profit arm; and Katapult Future Fest, an annual gathering. The firm states it has backed more than 200 portfolio companies across its funds and accelerators, with founders from more than 50 countries, over more than ten years of operating.
